About this design

Alexei, the first man ever to leave a spacecraft whilst in space. The first "space-walk" or EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity).

This happened on March 18th, 1965 on the Voskhod 2 flight. Alexei is also an accomplished artist and completed paintings during and after his missions to try and capture the feelings & emotions he felt as an astronaut.

Many people remember Yuri Gagarin, Alan Shepard & Neil Armstrong but Alexei is often forgotten or overlooked. I admire the courage and composure he must have had to accomplish the first space-walk and also the creativity he possesses, as seen in his artworks... something rarely found in astronauts/test pilots.
