About this design

This t-shirt design admires Edgar Allan Poe 's short story "The Black Cat" - one of Poe's darker stories which was first published in August 1843 in the Saturday Evening Post.

It is a very interesting little story, you can read a quick summary of the plot here.

The design shows an image of the one-eyed cat hidden inside the wall with the murder victim as told at the end of the short story.
