About this design
1957 MV Agusta 500cc short stroke engine, 4 cylinders mounted transversely across the frame with double overhead camshafts driven by gear train between the two inboard cylinders. Four Dell'Orto type SSI carburettors and Lucas magneto. The gearbox is currently an MV 6 speed cassette type and can be fitted 5, 6 and 7 speed gearboxes depending on the circuit. The engine produces approximately 50bhp at 10,500 rpm.
