The Tawny Owl
Who could not admire the wonderful Tawny Owl? I absolutely adore these little fellas with their plump little bodies, enormous saucery eyes and amazingly intricate plumage, which I really wanted to celebrate in this piece. Interestingly these nocturnal creatures pair off from the age of one year, and stay together in a usually monogamous relationship for life - ah, feel the love!
