This t-shirt admires the legendary Shelby Cobras which are Re-engineered cars by Carroll Shelby, the first Cobra was a modified 260 Roadster, built by British AC Cars and was extremely successful.
Since then, Carroll has re-worked a variety of cars that have grown to become legendary and very desirable cars. Original AC Cobra's reaching US$5.5 million in value.
Most Cobra's on the road are replica's, they may not be original but they prove the desire many people have for these legendary cars.
The design shows the name "Shelby Cobra" set into racing stripes, which you will find on the majority of Shelby vehicles.
It also has the famous Cobra, which apparently Carroll Shelby apparently dreamt of just prior to releasing his first AC Cobra... (taken from the Carroll Shelby website : "February 1962 - Carroll has a dream revealing to him the name Cobra appearing on the front of his car. In Carroll's words, "I woke up and jotted the name down on a pad which I kept by my bedside-a sort of ideas pad- and went back to sleep. Next morning when I looked at the name 'Cobra,' I knew it was right."
